Have had to use the sky router as a wireless switch effectively as I also have some legacy ip wireless cameras that can't talk to the superhub wifi , basically it's wep or nothing for them. I want to avoid all the messy wiring stuff though so I plugged in a bunch of 500gb powerline adaptors which seem more than up to the job of streaming hd

Speeds vary and although I get 30mmbps on average the main problem is the sky router which constantly drops signal to most of my devices. I have had a new router to try but still the same problems. Sky have not helped much but are happy to keep taking my money for a poor service. Here is If you wanted to move your broadband internet router for better WIFI coverage, you may find that a similar or better result can be achieved with the installation of a WIFI access point.
